Jamiroquai - Live at Montreux 2003 is a DVD of a concert performed by the British band Jamiroquai at the 2003 Montreux Jazz Festival. The DVD was released on October 1 2007 through Eagle Vision, a distributor also related to other DVD releases of Montreux Jazz Fest. performances. While the concert has been documented (bootlegged) in whole by fans, and has received a rather large amount of notability among the same fandom, it is the first time for this concert to see a professionally made, official DVD release. While the DVD will feature all of the tracks from the festival (including the among-fans notorious "Shoot the Moon"), it will also feature a '12-minute' live version of Space Cowboy, recorded at the same jazz festival, albeit in 1995.

Most of this concert's songs are "extended", a prime example being "Travelling Without Moving", which lasts for only 3 minutes and 40 seconds on the album, and circa 12 minutes on this live recording. Such "extended" performances are not uncommon to the band's live side.

Peter Cincotti - Live in New York (2005) DVD

Singer-songwriter Peter Cincotti is jazz-influenced pianist and vocalist with a bent toward adult-alternative pop and '70s influenced rock. Born in the Park Avenue apartment of his parents, Cincotti displayed a talent for music after being given a toy piano by his grandmother at age three, and when he was four he began taking piano lessons. At seven, he attracted the attention of Harry Connick, Jr., who had him sit in at a show at Bally's Grand in Atlantic City, NJ. He studied classical piano at the Manhattan School of Music and studied jazz piano privately with Ellis Marsalis, among other teachers. At 12, he turned professional and began playing in clubs in New York. He began singing to his own accompaniment in 1999. That summer, he toured with Connick. In 2000, he appeared at the Montreux Jazz Festival, winning a prize in a piano competition. In 2001, he performed in the off-Broadway production of Our Sinatra. That year, he graduated from the Horace Mann School and, in the fall, enrolled as a freshman at Columbia University. In February 2002, at 18, he became the youngest performer to headline at the prestigious Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel in New York. He was signed to Concord Records, and his self-titled debut album, produced by Phil Ramone, was released in March 2003. His sophomore effort, On the Moon debuted at number two on Billboard's Jazz Chart in late 2004 and featured a mix of jazz standards next to Cincotti's original songs which had begun to lean toward adult-alternative pop. The album earned Cincotti his first gold record in France and was supported by a successful worldwide tour. Cincotti released the single Goodbye Philadelphia in 2007 which revealed his continuing evolution into a rock-oriented songwriter and performer. In 2009, Cincotti released East of Angel Town which, although still showcasing Cincotti's knack for jazz inflected pop, was more of a pop/rock singer-songwriter album and featured production from legendary producer David Foster. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide

Confessions Tour was the seventh concert tour by American singer-songwriter Madonna. It supported her tenth studio album, Confessions on a Dance Floor. Madonna confirmed the possibility of going out on a tour, as early as November 2005. Jamie King was later appointed as the choreographer. The set list consisted of mainly songs from the supporting studio album and rehearsals started during 2006. The tour, again, did not go to Australia, prompting Madonna to release an apology statement on her website.

The concert was divided into four parts: Equestrian, Bedouin, Glam-Punk and Disco. Equestrian had horse-themed, bondaged performances, Bedouin had performances accompanied by messages, Glam-Punk performances had Madonna playing guitars and the final Disco segment consisted of dancing in general. The tour garnered positive appreciation from contemporary critics and commercial success. Tickets were completely sold as soon as dates and venues for the concert were announced, prompting the organizers to add more dates. After its ending, the Confessions Tour was dubbed as the highest grossing tour ever for a female artist, grossing over US$194.7 million from 60 shows and 1.2 million audience. The tour also received the "Most Creative Stage Production" at the Pollstar Concert Industry Awards as well as "Top Boxscore" from the Billboard Touring Awards.

Madonna's performance of the song "Live to Tell" while hanging on a giant mirrored cross wearing a crown of thorns was met with strong negative reaction from religious groups. The performance at Rome's Olympic Stadium was condemned as an act of hostility toward the Roman Catholic Church by religious leaders. Madonna responded saying that her main intention with the performance was to bring attention to the millions of children dying in Africa from hunger and poverty. The tour was recorded and broadcasted on channels like NBC in United States and Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. A CD+DVD recording titled The Confessions Tour was also released.

The New Year Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic (in German: Das Neujahrskonzert der Wiener Philharmoniker) is a concert of classical music that takes place each year in the morning of January 1 in Vienna, Austria. It is broadcast around the world to an estimated audience of 50 million in 72 countries.

The Vienna Philharmonic New Year's Concert 2010 was conducted for the second time by the French conductor Georges Pretre. Due to the television and radio broadcasts in more than 70 countries, the New Year's Concert is in terms of its international coverage the largest classical music event in the world.
